Temple Emanu-El's Social Action Committee is continuing its emergency food collection for the Center for Food Action in Englewood, NJ. The following items are needed most, but all non-perishable foods will be accepted: canned soups, canned meat products, peanut butter, fruit juices-canned, jars or boxes and macaroni & cheese boxes. Temple Emanu-El's Minyan at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, providing a minyan for the traditional Shabbat morning service, and without the participation of our congregants, they would not have a minyan and be able to read Torah or say Kaddish. This rewarding experience is very much appreciated by the residents of the Jewish Home and their Rabbi, Simon Feld. condition and of insufficient quantity. The next minyan at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh are on Shabbat, July 11th and August 8th. Please join us for this rewarding mitzvah. Van leaves Temple Emanu-El at 9:30am.
