Juniors and Seniors Program

We are pleased to announce the continuation of a program at Temple Emanu-El for Juniors and Seniors in High School. This program features five evening sessions with Rabbi Kirshner to discuss issues facing young teens today and decision making and the Jewish perspective that is attached to such issues. 11th and 12th graders who are beginning their search for colleges, will discuss issues such as what to expect when leaving home, adjusting to college and, if encountered, how to react to Anti-Semitism.

We have formulated this program as a means to keep our teens engaged in a dialogue about subjects of interest to Jewish teens, as well as a way to maintain their connection to Temple Emanu-El and their peers in the Temple community. Students will meet for five sessions at a Congregants’ home with dinner provided. There is no fee for this program. The first session will be held on Tuesday, March 20 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.

Please fill out the form below and send it back to the office to my attention.  Email will be the main source of communication for this program as well as postings on the Temple website, www.templeemanu-el.com. For more information and to RSVP please contact Tammy Ween at  or 201-750-9997.

Thank you,

Tammy M. Ween                                                         Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner
