Adult Education
TORAH INSTITUTE
 The Torah Institute, geared for graduates of Melton or the curious person, will include 17 sessions. Some will be taught by Rabbi David Hoffman, various JTS faculty, and our very own, David-Seth Kirshner. This year's theme will be Ethical Living, and each teacher will address this topic in depth and detail from unique perspectives. As always, I am hopeful that spending five weeks of in-depth study in class together will strengthen our personal relationship to each other and to our Temple, while the other sessions will also strengthen our bonds to JTS as well. Session dates are listed below and will be crowned with a dinner at JTS on April 6th following a visit to the Seminary's signature rare book room.
The sessions will be interactive, and begin at 7:15 pm, after minyan (try and come at 7:00 for minyan) and conclude no later than 9:00 pm. The fee for the Torah Institute is $360 per participant for Temple Emanu-El members and $450 for non-members. Please make your check out to Temple Emanu-El. Bear in mind we need a minimum of 20 participants to ensure the viability of the class.
