Join With Us And Do A Mitzvah !!!
The need for food at our community’s food pantries is sore. Demand has doubled but donations have reduced in half. It is crucial for our congregation to help re-stock these pantries that help feed our neighbors in their time of need.
The Committee has been collecting and donating food for the past six months in the name of everyone in the Temple. Now, we have to ratchet up the work and ask for universal participation !
We started the ‘20 / 20’ CLUB, which simply means that you take twenty minutes and spend twenty ($20) dollars on groceries at the store of your choice. (see list below)
OR, YOU COULD SIMPLY PUT DOWN A TWENTY DOLLAR BILL AT ANY GROCERY STORE AND PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE !!!!!
Then, deliver it to the Temple office or call so that we can pick it up from you and we will make sure it gets to the right place to help feed hungry children in our community.
We have 700 families in our community. If every family donated $20, we would have $14,000 and could feed a lot of hungry children for months.
PLEASE DONATE NOW AS PART OF THIS CRUCIAL CONGREGATION-WIDE EFFORT!!!
