Thank you for your interest in Temple Emanu-El. Over 725 families strong, we are a dynamic, egalitarian Conservative synagogue located in the northern valley of Bergen County, New Jersey. Under the direction of our spiritual leader Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner and Cantor Israel Singer, we offer evening and Sunday morning minyanim and wonderful Shabbat services for tots through adults, including a Havurah Junior Congregation service that meets each and every Shabbat.
We are also proud to deliver a wide range of programming for adults and children of all ages including one of the pre-eminent Religious school programs in Bergen County with a strong emphasis on Hebrew, Adult Education classes, an active Sisterhood, Men’s Club, Social Action Committee, Israeli Affairs Committee and much, much more!! Our Youth programs, K’ton Ton (1st-2nd grade), Chaverim (3rd-5th grade), Kadima (6th-8th grade), Club 8 (8th grade), ATID (8th-9th grade) and USY/F2F (9th-12th grade) feature social and educational activities that make children excited about being Jewish.
